Growing up in a small town, Denny was always that kid that stood out. Not by choice,
it was just the way he is. He was the kid that would wear a tie on a regular day at school:
a fashion lover who does not focus on name brands. While everyone was getting what is in or
popular, he was shopping at thrift stores and flea markets, learning to how to put clothes
together. Because of his love of thrifting, he started his own blog dedicated on the wonders
of it. The blog is called Look Rich Shop Cheap ,
a fresh, new blog that focuses on male fashion with detailed breakdowns and tips on how to
shop smart with a few dollars: an inspiration to many that you can still look good no matter
how big your budget is.
Two years ago, Denny started posting daily pictures of his outfits on facebook. While it was perceived as
ridiculous and vain, not many people understood that it was simply a hobby. A friend of his told him about
Lookbook.nu where he became quite popular in a matter of months using only his beat up digital camera and
that good old self-timer.
Denny also has a tumblr account where his 30,000 plus
followers look to him for inspiration in their daily attire. Because of the constant posting and blogging,
Denny caught the attention of many brands and has made superb collaborations with Dr.Martens, H&M, Diesel,
GAP and many more. Aside from that he was also featured in Complex magazine, Teenvogue.com, MTV.com, German
GQ, 21Men and other countless fashion blog sites.
What does the future hold for Denny? He doesn’t know, but he loves what he is doing these days and that
is to inspire.
