done! i get to fly back home to indiana tomorrow:] just when the weather was starting to get a bit warm here in LA, i have to leave! ha. i'm actually pretty excited to go home to a more christmas-y atmosphere. very cold back home.
i heard a few rough mixes from squire and JR rotem and i'm verrrry stoked on how things are coming out! i have a few more songs to record and some vocals to re-do, but the album is definitely getting there. woowoowoowoowoo!

i'm fascinated by the world of hip hop. it's so exciting to be working with a producer who is such a big name in that sort of stuff, especially since i'm so unrelated to it. i'm a lil dude who makes pop music in his basement. haha. it's a completely new perspective. since i've been recording here in LA my eyes have been very much opened. 2010 is gonna be fun.

my recording session starts late today, so i spent my few waking hours of the afternoon waking down hollywood boulevard and visiting a few of my favorite stores. when i don't have anything to do, i tend to blow money.. however, i've done pretty good on this trip. i do have to buy many christmas presents.. so i must be careful! anyway, there was a funny dancing man in H&M. american apparel had the nicest staff out of any i've been to. actually the employees of pretty much everywhere i went were really friendly. ya don't get much of that where i'm from.. at least not often:X
i'm watching the tyra banks show. you're so stoked for me.
i saw batman. so happy.
then i saw mr. incredible taking a picture of jack sparrow and a tourist.

off day today. got my songs done with mr. squire and they are sounding great. they sound about as "TRS" as it gets. i'm so stoked for everyone to hear them. andy and i ate a sweeet cafe called 101 with my dude tyler. check his songs out.. myspace.com/tylerbrownwilliamsmusic .. super good!
got the hotel room upgraded to a suite. i guess they were doing "mechanical stuff" to fix the old one.. so i got switched up to a ballin' room. partyyy.

2 songs done and i'm way stoked on how they came out. i think the best way to describe them is "big electro-tinged pop". but in the description, the word "big" would have to be a couple sizes bigger to accentuate.. i forget what that's called. something in the vain of onomatopoeia. i don't know. i guess "big electro-tinged pop" is kindof vague. oh well. you get the picture, homie.
i look really sad in the "band blog" picture up above. i'm not though, i promise.
today i get to visit it the california warner office, as there are many people i have not met. i'm excited. i hear it's a cool place, but is it as cool as pinkberry? i had some of that last night and it was great as usual.
when i go on trips, i always get really stoked on food. i look forward to eating all the time. i'm a super fun d00d.
i'll put more pictures up on here soon. i will try to take a few today. maybe some nice puppies or flowers. sound good?
